Condition Grading
When Collecting Old Lures You Will Begin to Wonder How Value & Condition is Determined. One Reference for Condition That Toad Tackle Uses is the National Fishing Lure Collector's Club (NFLCC) Standard Lure Grading System (see below, link included).
Value is Determined Based on Condition, Rarity, Color, & Current Demand. Sometimes Value is Simply Determined On What One Collector Paid for the Piece & What the Next Person Is Willing to Pay for That Item.

7 (VG) Very Good. Little age cracks; some minor defects
5-6 (G) Good. Some age cracks; starting to chip, small defects
3-4 (AVG) Average. Some paint loss and/or chipping; showing age 2 (F) Fair. Major paint loss and/or defects; much chipping
1 (P) Poor. Parts missing, poor color and/or major chipping
0 (R) Repaint. Original paint covered over in all or part
