SHAKESPEARE SPECIAL Fishing Lure with Original Vintage Box in SILVER FLASH
DID YOU KNOW.....
This is a "Throat Cut" Model of the Shakespeare Special. Shakespeare was Manufacturing the Dalton Special for Philip Porter Dalton in the Late 1940s. A "Falling Out" Occurred Between the 2 Entities and Shakespeare Halted Production. The Baits That Remained in the Factory Were Given a "THROAT CUT" Which is the 'Step" at the Head of the Bait That Resembles a Chin. It is the Physical Embodiment of the Legal Contention Between These Classic Lure Producers. How's That for a Nice Piece of Lure History!?!
